Sai Kumar, with his 35 years of industry expertise—including his groundbreaking tenure as Pepsi India’s first Bangalore employee—has driven VREP to adopt state-of-the-art technology and construction engineering solutions. His leadership has solidified VREP’s reputation for precision and safety, supported by a culture of trust, respect, and innovation.

Vandana Kohli has transitioned from a dedicated homemaker to a dynamic  businesswoman, now a key figure at VREP. Her 25 years of experience in design, quality, and management influence every aspect of the business, from finance and HR to administration and strategic planning. Under her guidance, VREP has executed significant projects, including cutting-edge innovation labs for multinational corporations, challenging the norms of the traditionally male-dominated construction business.

Today, Vandana and Sai are the keystones of VREP, steering the company towards delivering industrial-grade construction and superior infrastructure projects with exceptional quality. Their goal is to ensure the timely completion of projects for at least 1000 industries, continuously enhancing VREP’s engineering platform while upholding the values of integrity, innovation, and excellence. We have always heard this phrase, right!
Centered on this traditional insight, starting up a company with a friend doesn’t seem to be the wisest idea for many. But we have the Successful Entrepreneurs who proved the above saying is wrong.
Vandana Kohli, born and brought up in Amritsar, Punjab, a mother of three daughters was an Innovative homemaker. Sankaran Sai Kumar, born and brought up in Bangalore, was an employee of a leading Food & Beverages company. They both decided to shake hands together & break the myth and planned to start a Design, Construction & Consultancy Business.

They both grew up in different cultures and with different values. They both belonged to a middle-class family and had no background in business. They together recognised how complementary their skills were and together they could be successful professionally as a team. They both Inspired and Motivated each other. Integrity, Strong Work Ethics, and Persistence are the Secret Ingredients of their Successful Business.

A woman can achieve any task given to her, but unfortunately, she fails to stand up to the world due to some misconceptions. Breaking the odds, Vandana created her own identity by revealing what she can achieve to the World. She has proved that women are no less than a man by building up a business in the construction segment which is primarily dominated by men. Her Self-Confidence and Willpower to do anything led to her success. With over 25 years of experience in Designing, Quality, & Management, Vandana Kohli has made a statement in the field. During her career with VREP, she was entrusted with the responsibility of heading the Finance, HR, Admin and Strategic Planning sectors. Some notable executions include the Design and execution of the Innovation centre labs for multinational companies in the NCR.

Sai Kumar has been a Symbol of Sheer Dedication, Determination, and Hard work. He was the first employee of Pepsi India in Bangalore. His 35 years of Industrial experience has Accelerated Growth and Accumulated Value for the company securing a mark in the industry. Under Sai Kumar’s leadership, VREP continues to have the tag of completing the projects with utmost Safety and Precision. His many years of meticulous work, experience and dedication are the reason behind the success of VREP. He set a strong path for the company, allying individuals’ focus through interaction, and thus inspiring these individuals to action. Mrs. Vandana Kohli, Director of VREP Construction and Consultants Pvt Ltd, has a distinguished career having more than 20 years of enriched experience in Business Management, Designing, Execution & finance. She has held various Leadership positions during her long stint.Vandana is an Honours Graduate in Arts&Sociology,herlove for Creativity and Designing took a wild turn in her career as she completed her formal education in this stream and learned more advanced way of understanding business from IIM Bangalore.

With over 20 years of experience in Designing, Quality,&Management, VandanaKohli has made a statement in her specific field. During this tenure, sheworked with Renowned builders by creating mock up flats, independent villas as well office spaces Pan India.

Prestige, Adarsh, Puravankara and Brigade Group are the main brand names for whom Vandana has worked for and delivered the timely projects &with 100% satisfaction. The main highlight of her businesses is Teamwork, Customer relationship, Customer satisfaction and Timely delivery.

On this journey She has learned the tools which can help to enhance her designing skills, like Photoshop, Coral draw, Auto cad, Microsoft, etc.

During her career with VREP she was entrusted with the responsibility for heading the Finance HR, Admin and Strategic Planning sector. Some notable executions includeDesign and execution of Innovation centre lab for Mother Dairy Fruits &Vegetable Pvt Ltd., New Delhi,
Hamdard (Wakf) Laboratoriesin Ghaziabad, & Beverage Development Research centre for Coca- Cola India Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon.

Vandana’s work has been covered in Construction Magazine, Femina, Passion Vista Business International Magazine and other popular magazines and a daily newspaper as a woman, whose success is attributed to her Grit, Determination, and Single-Minded focus in handling the company and executing the projects.

As an entrepreneur, she has contributed to the country’s economy in multiple ways.

Her accomplishments are many. She has received the Achievers award for women entrepreneur, the Vocational Excellence Award by Rotary Club Bangalore, and the Independent Women’s Achievers Award by KWAA-Bangalore.

Her learning and creation were not limited to the Design & Construction company. It finds its pursuit in the form of her other venture- ‘Vandana Raj Label in Fashion Industry. This was her first love which she hadstarted way back in 2002 after completing formal education in that space.This was the beginning of a New Era for HER as an Entrepreneur.

She’s always had a Creative mind and a Sense of Style, her eagerness to learn new things, has helped herembrace successwith a lot of gratitude. Vandana has always had a strong connection with divine power increasing her confidence in every undertaking; however, Discipline and Determination has always been her secret to success.

Mr. Sai Kumar, Director of VREP Construction and Consultants Pvt Ltd., has spearheaded the company’s transformation from a Project Management Company (PMC) to a diversified Construction Engineering business in no time. He has led many industrial projects for multiple sectors covering Beverages, Breweries, Dairy, Garments, Soaps, Detergents and many more. He is a Respectable Awardee of the ‘SAFETY AWARD’ for achieving Zero accident since the year 1998.  He was also honoured with EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD (1999) for outstanding performance in the industry.

Mr. Sai Kumar has been a symbol of sheer Dedication, Determination and Hard work. With a group turnover of Rs.150cr, VREP’s business span across Engineering, Construction, and Infrastructure.

Mr. Sai was born in Bengaluru and studied in RBANMS school, after which he completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering. Immediately after his graduation he started working in a Refrigeration Plant as a Refrigerator Engineer. Mr Sai has over 30 years of experience in the technical aspect of technical work.

Mr Sai was the first employee of Pepsi India and worked as a Shift Engineer, Production Manager for almost 12 years. His contribution for obtaining Gold Rating for the Pepsi Company plant – ‘PEPSI INTERNATIONAL QUALITY AWARD’ is highly notable achievement in his stint.

With his Vision for the company and hard work he had achieved successfully producing first marketable 600 BPM glass and 200 BPM PET line bottles as a part of Green Field Project for Pepsi in Neelamangla Bangalore, has been a talk of the town.

He also led the business restructuring for Coca Cola plant in Bhutan. He had successfully produced 200 BPM combi line and 200 BPM preform moulding line in green field project. Also,his success didn’t stop here, he has created the Record at Kalahasti in Thirupathy Andhra Pradesh by producing 600 BPM glass, and 200 BPM PET line.

Under Mr Sai Kumar’s leadership, VREP continues to have the tag of completing the projects with utmost Safety and Precision. In addition, it continues to spread its wings across 15 states at its project sites across India. The result is a business that plays a leading role in meeting the massive infrastructure needs of India, leveraging best-in-class equipment and technology, knowledge-driven processes and innovation-led next practices. His 30 year of Rich Industry experience has Accelerated Growth and accumulated value to the company securing a mark in the Industry.
